I am still doing websites and hosting and looking for web projects to do http://www.webstartcenter.com/ but I have also taken the plunge and started the other business I was speculating about doing last summer...

http://www.airofdelight.com/

I will be at the Info Med table at the 21st Annual Holiday Peace Fair this Sat. 12/6 at Willow Glen United Methodist Church, at 1420 Newport (at Minnesota) in San Jose.

Various other vendors, lots of entertainment, proceeds benefiting various causes such as Rescuing Global Neighbors (Chechen refugees and others) and Next Door (Solutions to Domestic Violence).

I really want to find people who want to have me come do show and smell at their home or office. I can make it more paganish or more mainstream as desired. You will get free stuff for letting me do this :)

I'm also interested in other people who want to sell for me (make a % on your customers even if they order/reorder through the site).

And yes this company is me, not being a rep for one of the Utah based MLMs.

My prior outing was to do a table at the Holiday Boutique at the Mercury News 2 weeks ago. That was fun and it was interesting to see what people were most interested in.

Eucalyptus and Orange were the early favorites, with Lavender only catching up late in the day.

Although it was meant to be a gift buying opportunity -- most of my customers were definitely buying for their own use instead.

I do have less than 1800 tealights now.

Another thing I've done more of in the last few months than I had been doing for awhile is checking out huge gobs of library books.

I finally read the first 2 Harry Potter books. I haven't seen the 3rd one yet, I will have to probably put a hold on it or something to get it. After reading the first one, I didn't see much more to it than the movie, but the second did make a lot more sense reading it than the movie. Hopefully I will actually read the 3rd one before I see the movie for a change. It's all right but I do like a bunch of other stuff better...

Speaking of, I finally started reading Diana Wynne Jones' books which a few people had recommended. This is an example of an author I like better than Rowling. Witch Week (there is a witch in 6B !) and about 5 others so far.

Read all the William Sleator's I could find that I hadn't read before. He still gets my vote as scary! Though somewhat funny at times too - "I'm getting perturbed." (from Boltzmon).

Random Zilpha Keatley Snyder and E. Nesbit.

When I got out of the kids section it's been surprise surprise books about aromatherapy, skin care, and marketing...

Unfortunately I lost a book in October and the fine is high. I think I might know where the book is. Will have to check. I think they'll make me pay next time I want to check out and I have some books due in 2 days.

I'll try to get back to posting more regularly as well. A couple of people unfriended me in the last several weeks of silence - probably because they thought I've disappeared.
