feel it like an animal
Jun. 6th, 2006 12:28 amPBS documentary on studies/observations of emotions in animals "Why dogs smile and chimpanzees cry" was on KQED last night.
Any of you that have been friends with animals already know that they have emotions, but it's still interesting to see their examples.
They spend major time on chimps because they're so much like us, and because some of them (Washoe and crew) have been taught how to talk with us, so they can say things about it. But they also have stuff with wolves, elephants, dolphins, and others, even a touching meercat story.
