My gator apparently wrestled the last cookie from Josh and forced his subdued victim to carry him over while I was on the phone with a prospective client. That's one theory anyways.

Also:

Like [livejournal.com profile] tiggrrl I escape to purgatory, but limbo sounds like more fun, or at least more like my life.

The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to Purgatory!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
LevelScore
Purgatory (Repenting Believers)High
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers)High
Level 2 (Lustful)Moderate
Level 3 (Gluttonous)Moderate
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious)Moderate
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy)Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics)Very Low
Level 7 (Violent)High
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers)High
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous)Very Low

Take the Dante's Inferno Hell Test

I would have thought I was more of a heretic, but I answered many of the questions, such as "Do you believe in God?" , according to my own operating definitions, NOT what I assumed Dante would have meant if he asked me.

The high Fradulent score seems weird. Maybe because of the pimp question?

For those of you that don't read the journals where I found these. These all struck me as rather important in their own ways. Worthy of wider attention.

From [livejournal.com profile] revlainiep:

Apparently it is now a crime to enter Indian Restaurants. This is NOT acceptable.

These two articles from [livejournal.com profile] david365's jounal should be interesting to most of you on one level or another. Perhaps a warning for some and a model for others.

Reporter spends time with "the Family" - politics, religion, secret societies, power, pragmatism

An interview with the author of the previous article.

And the fun, but still important one from [livejournal.com profile] magickalmoon:

Do you know North African and Middle Eastern geography? interactive Flash map game - if you don't know it'll help you learn it!
